Zombie movies are getting better and better. This pleases me.

“28 Weeks Later” - the sequel to the best-reviewed zombie movie of all time “28 Days Later” - is a kick-ass good time. Finally, a horror movie with scenes that are actually horrific, not just gory.

“28 Days Later” (the first movie) was about people’s individual reactions to a zombie infestation. “28 Weeks Later” (this movie) is more about the military reaction to a zombie infestation, after they start letting dipshit civilians back into the country. Thus, the flick doesn’t have the strong heart and characters of the first movie. But who cares? It’s a zombie movie! It’s fast-paced, scary, interesting, and it kept surprising me with actual plot twists, not WHAT’S-THAT-Oh-it’s-just-a-fucking-cat.

One breast. One flamethrower. Sniper fire goodness. Sprinting zombie goodness. Fire-bombing of a major city. Blood, blood, blood. See it in the theater.
